Nutrition & Ingredients

The KetoOne/KetoSoy Nutrition Label:

Shakes (first image) + Vitamins (second image) = 100% or more of IOM suggested daily values.

The Vitamin Pack:

We've chosen a sugar free vitamin pack to supplement the main drink.  Using a vitamin pack instead of adding a powdered vitamin supplement means we can choose the best nutrients for your body without adding bitter, off, or metalic tastes to the shakes.   Fish oil, for example, is a great source of long chain EPA and DHA omega-3 fatty acids.  But, it tastes like fish, and fish is a flavor that doesn't go particularly well with chocolate-coconut.

Additionally, many people choose the ketogenic diet when they're trying to lose weight.  Which means they are trying to consume less than 1800 calories each day.  Just because you are eating fewer calories to lose weight, though, doesn't mean your body needs fewer nutrients.  In fact, many nutrition researchers theorize that nutrient deficiencies drive over eating in the first place.  By separating the micronutrients from the macronutrients, you aren't tied to consuming a certain number of calories to get enough nutrients.

Including a vitamin pack makes production and distribution more complicated than simply adding vitamin powder to the shake mix, but we think it is the right call for taste and for nutrition.

Our current vitamin pack is the NatureMade Diabetes Health Pack, which consists of five pills: Multivitamin/MultiMineral, Fish Oil with Vitamin D, Magnesium, Vitamin C, ALA with Green Tea, and Chromium.
